Area description

The town of Momjan in north-western Istria, just south of the Slovenian border, is situated on a hilltop commanding incredible vistas of Istria's interior and the sea. Visit a 15th-century church and the ruins of a 13th-century cliff-top castle, or stop for a meal in numerous restaurants nearby, visit wine tastings in one of the famous local wineries or just take a walk in the beautiful nature surrounding the town.

The nearest beach (pebble) is situated cca13 km in Kanegra. Grocery store, post office, supermarkets, bus station or a bank are all situated in a nearby city of Buje (cca 4,8 km away).
The nearest restaurant is only 1,1 km away from the property, but there are many very good restaurants nearby.
