Area description

When you come to Istria from the northwest, the first place you'll come across is Savudrija, a small fishing village, rich in history, situated on the edge of the peninsula of the same name. The indented, mostly rocky coastline is interspersed with small pebble beaches and surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation full of laurel, palms, various types of evergreen shrubs, pines, and cypresses. Today, Savudrija and its surroundings offer a lot more than a good climate. Besides those who just want to relax, swim, and sunbathe, it is ideal for tourists looking for an active and adrenaline-packed experience. Riding a bike along numerous Roman monuments, trekking and jogging, tennis, scuba diving, and golf are just a part of the rich tourism offer. A professional golf course with 18 holes on Crveni vrh near Savudrija (3,5 km away from the property) offers a wonderful experience of playing golf on the course merging with the landscape, with the view of the sea and the vineyards.
